Services
These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, bookings, inspections, repairs, installations, replacement works, maintenance services, emergency attendance and related services provided by Alpha & Omega Trinity Pte Ltd.
Where these Terms refer to different notice periods, the shorter notice period applies for urgent damage, defect, safety or service-related claims, while longer periods may apply only to invoice or administrative discrepancies.
Important Notice
By engaging, booking, confirming, allowing work to proceed, making payment, or using our website, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Overview
Core Service Terms
Company
“Company”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Alpha & Omega Trinity Pte Ltd. “Customer”, “you” and “your” refer to the person, company, occupier, owner, tenant, managing agent or representative engaging our services.
Services Covered
Services include aircon servicing, plumbing, water heater, electrical, water pump, water tank, PUB-related plumbing advice, inspection, repair, replacement, installation and related home maintenance works.
Acceptance
Acceptance may be given by written approval, WhatsApp confirmation, verbal instruction, payment, deposit, allowing our technician to attend, or allowing work to start on site.
Booking & Scope
Quotations, Site Conditions And Work Scope
1. Quotations And Estimated Pricing
All prices, quotations and estimates given by phone, WhatsApp, email, website or online messages are based on information available at that time. Final pricing may change after site inspection if the actual issue, access condition, parts required, manpower required, urgency, safety risk, concealed defect or service scope differs from the information first provided.
2. Site Inspection And Revised Quote
Our technician may inspect the site before confirming the final work scope and price. If additional work, parts or risks are discovered, we may provide a revised quote. The customer may accept or reject the revised quote, but inspection, transport, attendance or diagnostic charges may still apply where stated or agreed.
3. Customer Information And Access
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information, clear photos, videos, address, access details, parking/loading information, building rules, management requirements and any known risks before our attendance. The customer must ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area.
4. Authority To Instruct Work
The person confirming the booking or instructing the technician is deemed to have authority from the owner, tenant, occupier, managing agent or relevant party to approve the work and charges.
Customer Responsibility
Before Work Starts
Clear Work Area
The customer should remove valuables, fragile items, furniture, decorations, electronics and personal items near the work area before work starts.
Concealed Pipes & Wiring
The customer must inform us of any known concealed pipes, electrical wiring, waterproofing, gas pipes, weak surfaces, renovation defects or hidden installations.
Building Approval
Where building management, MCST, landlord, HDB, condo, commercial premises or authority approval is required, the customer is responsible for obtaining approval unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Risk Areas
Damage, Drilling, Concealed Defects And Existing Conditions
Drilling, Cutting, Hacking And Wall Works
Where drilling, cutting, hacking, mounting or penetration works are required, there is a risk of cracks, chipped tiles, weak plaster, concealed pipes, concealed electrical wiring or hidden defects. Unless caused by our proven negligence, we are not liable for damage arising from unknown concealed conditions, weak existing materials or customer-requested drilling locations.
Existing Defects And Wear And Tear
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, aged parts, rust, corrosion, brittle pipes, weak valves, old wiring, poor prior installation, water pressure issues, blocked concealed pipes, structural defects, waterproofing failure or defects not reasonably visible before work starts.
Regulated Works
PUB, Electrical And Licensed Work
Regulated Plumbing Works
Some water service and sanitary plumbing works in Singapore may require a PUB Licensed Plumber, notification, submission or compliance with PUB requirements. The customer agrees that regulated work will not be treated as simple handyman work where licensing or submission is required.
Electrical Safety
Electrical works are subject to applicable safety requirements. If an electrical condition is unsafe, our technician may stop work, isolate the issue, recommend further inspection, or decline to proceed until the risk is resolved.
Authority And Third-Party Requirements
Where any government agency, PUB, EMA, BCA, town council, building management, MCST, landlord, manufacturer or insurer requires specific approval, documentation or procedure, the customer is responsible for informing us before work starts unless we have expressly agreed to handle it.
4. Authority To Instruct Work
The person confirming the booking or instructing the technician is deemed to have authority from the owner, tenant, occupier, managing agent or relevant party to approve the work and charges.
Payment
Payment, Cancellation And Rescheduling
Payment Due
Payment is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may request deposit, progress payment or upfront payment for parts, special orders or urgent works.
Late Payment
Unpaid invoices may be subject to recovery action, administrative fees, collection costs, legal costs, interest and suspension of further service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Cancellation
Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply where a technician has been dispatched, parts have been ordered, access is not available, or the customer cancels after confirmation.
Quotation & Invoice
Quotation And Invoice Conditions
Quotation Validity
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 30 days from the quotation date. We reserve the right to revise pricing after the validity period or where site conditions, material costs, labour requirements, urgency, access or scope changes.
Confirmation And Commencement Of Work
Where the customer requests us to commence work before issuing a formal confirmation letter, purchase order, work order or signed quotation, such request shall be treated as acceptance of our quotation, scope, pricing and these Terms and Conditions.
No Retention Unless Agreed
The customer shall not withhold retention, set-off or deduction unless expressly agreed in writing by Alpha & Omega Trinity Pte Ltd. Full payment must be made according to the stated payment terms.
Waiting Time, Delay And Site Readiness
Additional charges may apply if our worker, supervisor or engineer is delayed due to permit issues, customer delay, site not ready, safety induction, access restriction, building management approval, parking/loading delay, or any matter outside our control.
Excluded Items Unless Stated
Unless expressly included in writing, our quoted price does not include statutory fees, authority charges, PUB/LTA/BCA/NEA/SCDF or other application fees, consultant fees, professional engineer fees, qualified person fees, safety personnel, scaffolding, insurance, security requirements, submission fees, surcharge, storage, making good, reinstatement, hacking, coring, structural works, ceiling/wall/floor finishes, concealed services tracing or third-party charges.
Materials, Goods And Ownership
All equipment, materials and goods delivered to site shall remain the property of Alpha & Omega Trinity Pte Ltd until full payment is received. We reserve the right to recover unpaid goods, stop work, suspend warranty or withhold further service where payment is overdue.
Delivery, Goods And Returns
Customers must inspect goods, materials and completed works promptly upon delivery or completion. Goods sold or installed are not returnable unless required by law or expressly approved by us. Complaints or return requests may be rejected if not reported within 7 days from delivery or completion.
Invoice Discrepancy
The customer must review the invoice and notify us of any error, omission or discrepancy within 10 days from the invoice date. If no written notice is received within this period, the invoice shall be deemed correct, conclusive and binding to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Computerised Documents
Quotations, invoices, delivery orders, statements and receipts may be computer-generated and may be valid without a physical signature, unless a signature is legally required or expressly requested and agreed.
Warranty & Claims
Warranty, Investigation And Liability Limits
Service Warranty
Any warranty applies only to the specific workmanship or parts stated on the invoice, quotation or written confirmation. Warranty does not cover misuse, wear and tear, unrelated faults, third-party work, customer-supplied parts, poor existing systems, concealed defects, external causes, water pressure fluctuation, power issues, blockage recurrence from usage, or failure to follow advice.
Customer-Supplied Or Third-Party Products
Where the customer supplies parts, appliances, fixtures, taps, heaters, pumps, tanks, electrical fittings or other materials, we are not responsible for product defects, compatibility issues, missing parts, manufacturer warranty, performance or future failure of those items.
Claims Procedure
Any complaint, defect, damage or claim must be reported to us as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours of discovery. The customer should provide photos, videos, invoice number, address and a clear description. The affected area should not be altered, repaired by another party or disposed of before our investigation, unless urgent safety mitigation is required.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive or economic losses, including loss of profit, loss of rent, business interruption, loss of use, inconvenience or third-party claims.
Legal
Governing Law, Disputes And Updates
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. The customer agrees to submit to the courts of Singapore for disputes arising from these Terms or our services, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Right To Refuse Or Stop Work
We reserve the right to refuse, pause or stop work where the site is unsafe, access is unreasonable, payment is not made, customer instructions are unclear, required approvals are missing, the work may breach regulations, or the customer behaves abusively or unreasonably.
Changes To Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of booking or service shall apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
